Hala Dynamo is seen above at just over 12 hours old. She looks like she will be black, with 2 hind socks and a star. She is very sweet, curious and already wanting to play. Congratulations to Matt Boyd, the proud human "papa"!

Here's a little more from Hala's breeder, Matt Boyd:
Hala is a ton of potential in a small package. She stands just under 15 hands (14.3 1/2), but moves like a much bigger horse. She was started under saddle in earnest fall 2011, is competing at the Novice level in eventing, and starting to school at the Training level.
She has a huge extended trot in her and would excel as a dressage horse. She is young, but looks like she will be a terrific all-rounder, with capabilities in eventing, dressage, jumping, or the hunters.
December 2011, Hala completed her first schooling show at Beginner Novice at Poplar Place Farm. She finished second, with no rails down and no time faults in two separate show jumping rounds.
February 5, 2012, Hala completed her first recognized USEA horse trial at Poplar Place Farm. She finished first in a large Open Beginner Novice class of 15 horses, with clean xc and show jumping rounds. She is showing an ability to win already, and will be moved up to Novice in her next recognized show.
February 18, 2012, Hala completed her first Novice combined test at Poplar Place Farm with a solid dressage test and again had no rails and no time in stadium -- she's not touched a rail or had a jumping fault in any of the three competitions she's entered. She schooled all of the Novice and much of the Training cross-country course in addition to completing the combined test. She is proving to be very sensible, adaptable, and talented.
March 4, Hala competed at Sporting Days in Aiken, SC at her second recognized horse trial, at the Novice level. Once again she excelled, with a 31.7 dressage score and clean showjumping and cross-country rounds. She finished tied for 4th in a very competitive class of 19 (ribboned 5th because she was 4 seconds quicker on xc than the horse she was tied with), and was only .4 points out of 3rd. She will likely run Novice again at Chattahoochee Hills in April, our schedules permitting. She retains her perfect jumping record and is starting to realize her tremendous dressage potential. Dressage comments included "Super cute -- dainty -- lovely turnout, looks solid in work! -- steady and forward."
Hala sold to an Event rider at the Aiken show. We wish her new owner the best in their show experience!
Hala Dynamo is the full sister to PF Hildegard (offered for sale).
